The scented and flavoured oregano from Pantelleria is a fundamental ingredient in countless dishes from the Mediterranean gastronomy.
Our oregano small plants are cultivated on the terraced hills of the island, with no need for extra water. Oregano is hand-harvested at flowering, let rest under the sun and then dried. Ginning is hand-made too.
It’s more intensely flavoured compared to other varieties from the Mediterranean basin, so it’s an excellent seasoning for various dishes.
Try it with tomatoes, salad, cheese, but also meat, fish and pizza.
